Job Purpose

Leverage existing & new-developing databases / data systems to nurture data-driven culture in sales department, which drive promotion and investment efficiency overall. Support Business Acceleration manager to successfully implement digital transformations to empower sales teams with the right actionable insights and recommendations (right resources, right timing, right tools, etc.)

Principle Accountabilities

Lead/Support on the Key Digital Transformation project

  • • Work closely with other local departments and PR headquarters person in charge to implement key digital transformation which enables business acceleration
  • • Organize various sales data/information, leverage them to
    • ・make decisions based on accurate/real-time data
    • ・optimize various process in sales department
    • ・make the most effective use of sales promotion cost

Lead/Support on current sales database maintenance, provide sales reports and data analysis

  • • Lead RDP database maintenance and provide various reports with stakeholders
  • • Support the Business Acceleration Manager on the sales reporting, analysis, and on ad-hoc projects
  • • Provide information/data analysis with sales force to support them leverage data for sales strategy and working efficiency
  • • Develop and maintain good communication with other departments, and support other functions when required, such as for
    • ・Market data analysis to identify Risk & Opportunity, including competitor intelligence analysis, pricing / market share evolution, and other ad-hoc analysis)


Academic Requirement

  • • 4-year university graduate or above

Professional Experience Required

  • • 3 to 5 years’ solid experience in the Sales Planning functions or as a data analyst
  • • Working experience in a multi-national corporation and/or overseas (working or studying) experience is a must
  • • Knowledge of the Japanese route to market (experience of FMCG market is a plus)
  • • Experience of RDP data is a plus


  • • Business Level in Japanese and English

Key Competencies (hard)

  • • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • • Knowledge of BI tools (PowerBI) is a plus
  • • Broad business knowledge and insight

Key Competencies (soft)

  • • Flexible working attitude to work on a dynamic/fast moving environment
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Japan and Multinational culture
  • • Detail oriented attitude for reporting based on large volume of data sources
  • • Logical and critical thinking skill
